Kerr Family Funerals are pleased to be able to offer a range of options when it comes to arranging a funeral. One of the options that is growing in popularity is that of a Direct Cremation. This is where the funeral of your loved one takes place with the celebration of their life taking place at a later date and in a different venue. We will also discuss with you the date, time and location of the cremation service.
Within our Direct Cremation Package we offer you the following:
- Collection of your loved one from where they passed away.
- Care of the deceased within our secure, modern chapel until the day of their funeral.
- Submission of all necessary paperwork and appropriate payments, i.e. cremation fee, Doctors fee for completion of cremation papers.
- The provision of a fully furnished Veneered Oak Coffin.
- Transportation of your loved one to the crematorium on the day of their funeral in our private ambulance.
- We can scatter the ashes for you or return the ashes to you so you can arrange your own memorial.
