About Kerr Family Funerals

Kerr Family Funerals is based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire and offer our funeral services across Herts, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, as well as North West London including areas such as Kilburn, Willesden, Edgware, Wembley, Barnet and Alperton.

Our service is personal, and we work hard to ensure that ‘Care and Quality aren’t compromised’.

We are able to provide services for those of faith or no faith. We have worked closely with families and communities from a broad spectrum of society, including Roman Catholic, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Hindu, Church of England and other mainstream Christian denominations. We have also supported many families in the African-Caribbean and travelling communities.

we sadly lost our baby girl at 15 days old, he really made an awful time 100 times easier.
The funeral service ran so smoothly and although was a dreadful day, was also an absolutely perfect day all thanks to Alex !
I can not recommend him enough, a family-run business with no time restraints or office hours to comply with to ask any questions I had which was perfect and made it that more personal.
He put so much effort in to ensure she did not look lonely and was surrounded by flowers teddies and love.

We lost our dad unexpectedly, which was very difficult to come to terms with,  but from the moment I first spoke to Alex I felt supported and his care with Dad was next to none.

Alex was a rock to the whole family,  going over and above to help us navigate our way through the most emotional of times.

All of my dads wishes came to fruition and he had the most beautiful send off including horse drawn carriage.

Nothing was too much effort and it was obvious that Alex genuinely cared. The experience felt very personal and he was happy to tailor his services to any of our needs. Alex also acted as the celebrant and delivered an amazing service.

He directed us to get flowers from a local supplier as he said this would be cheaper!!
He also helped and guided me through my duty’s as this was only my second funeral I had conducted,, made my job much more relaxing.
He kept us informed throughout, no detail was to much for him.
We even got a call a few weeks later to ask how things were and how the deceased husband was coping.

Very impressed,,well done Alex you are a credit to your profession and a true human being.

Very kind caring man whom we felt an immediate ease & comfortable meeting, to talk about all the arrangements for my departed mum. As you can imagine this was a very difficult time for me & my family, and we had never arranged a funeral before so it was all so new to us. Family friends recommended other funerals parlour but it was important for my mum to have the service at her favourite and long time local parish. So glad we had chosen and found Alex family owned business. For me I’ve learnt so much from Alex. Every detail of my mums funeral arrangements was explained to us in a calm friendly manner but also keeping it very professional. Alex  never pressurised us in any way. One thing I really liked and appreciated, was the fact he made himself available at all times of the day. Our meeting then took place very quickly after the call, and when I met Alex in person, it was very clear to me that Alex’s professionalism would help me navigate on making difficult decisions regarding the whole funeral service.  He was always available for my calls, and having him as a direct contact throughout the whole process, I can say that Kerr Family Funerals provided what I would call a very personalized service, and one that I would highly recommend.

The funeral service went as planned, and all those who attended the funeral remarked on the sensitivity and professionalism of Alex and his team.  Even after the church service and the cremation, Alex remained in communication with me until the very end of the process.   I would not hesitate in recommending Kerr Family Funerals to anyone.
