Alex Kerr was absolutely wonderful. Very kind caring man whom we felt an immediate ease & comfortable meeting, to talk about all the arrangements for my departed mum. As you can imagine this was a very difficult time for me & my family, and we had never arranged a funeral before so it was all so new to us. Family friends recommended other funerals parlour but it was important for my mum to have the service at her favourite and long time local parish.

So glad we had chosen and found Alex family owned business. For me I’ve learnt so much from Alex. Every detail of my mums funeral arrangements was explained to us in a calm friendly manner but also keeping it very professional. Alex never pressurised us in any way. One thing I really liked and appreciated, was the fact he made himself available at all times of the day. Almost felt like we’ve known him a long time and was part of our family.

I was recommended by a family friend to Kerr Family Funerals ‎as my beloved mother had passed away over the Christmas period and I was very distraught having never dealt with a funeral and was worried on not getting an early date to bury my mother and other different requirements needed. Alex from Kerr Family Funerals came to my rescue and went above and beyond from start to finish with every hurdle I faced. Alex was able to sort each issue and accommodate my needs. Alex was available whenever needed via phone , text and email at anytime and had such a compassionate attitude but highly professional at the same time. Kerr Family Funerals I felt were very competitive with pricing undercutting other quotes I was given and was fair and did not overprice or rip me off at any point and gave a clear breakdown and invoice of costs at every stage. We had a short time to organise a funeral service , prayers and burial and Alex was with me at every stage and even was the celebrant at the service . Alex thoroughly emerged in understanding what specific requirements I needed and understood my mother, and that came across in the speech given at my mothers service. Alex even called a few days later to ask how I was feeling . I really highly recommend this funeral service and especially Alex.
